The Hans Project is a project covering construction of gas pipeline Bernau-Szczecin, which will connect Polish gas market with the network of gas pipelines in the western Europe. The pipeline will provide access to import utilities from Germany. Total technical output of the gas pipeline is 3.0 – 5.0 bcm per year. Its total length (150 km) shall include a 30 km section in Poland and 120 km in Germany.
Strategic partners will be invited to collaborate in development of the project in Poland and Germany in 2014. We have already obtained a construction permit for the Bernau-Szczecin gas pipeline and secured an attractive model of settlement of accounts based on RAB (regulatory asset base). The project is planned to be completed and commissioned in 2018.
