Dominika Kulczyk’s company signs another renewable energy supply contract

Polenergia Obrót S.A. has signed a three-year agreement with companies from the Orbia Group for the supply of electricity generated 100% from renewable sources – wind and solar. The contract covers two companies from the Orbia Building and Infrastructure Group: Wavin Polska S.A. and Multilayer Pipe Company sp. z o.o. This marks another step towards building a low-emission economy and supporting businesses that consciously choose clean energy.

The estimated annual volume of energy supplied under the contract amounts to 33 GWh, including renewable energy and supplementary conventional energy balancing the contract. For comparison, 33 GWh is the amount of electricity that could power approximately 17,000 households for an entire year.

For years, Polenergia has been consistently implementing a sustainable development strategy based on high ESG standards. The company invests in new renewable energy sources, reduces CO₂ emissions across the entire value chain, conducts transparent non-financial reporting, and engages in social and educational projects. It also implements innovative technologies that increase energy efficiency and security of supply. Thanks to these efforts, Polenergia remains a reliable partner in achieving climate goals in Poland and internationally.

The signed agreement responds to the growing demand from businesses for green energy, driven by the need to optimise costs and implement ESG strategies. It also demonstrates that renewable energy sources are becoming the foundation of a modern economy, with Polenergia acting as a partner that effectively addresses the needs of business.

The signing of this agreement is another step in the implementation of our strategy, aimed at providing customers with stable supplies of energy from renewable sources. By combining volumes from wind and photovoltaic farms, we offer a product tailored to business needs while strengthening the commercialisation of our generation assets. This is energy that not only powers companies, but also supports the energy transition and helps build a more sustainable future.

Wojciech Zając

President of the Management Board of Polenergia Obrót

Polenergia is the largest Polish private energy group. It consists of vertically integrated companies operating in the generation of energy from renewable and low-emission sources, as well as in electricity sales. Polenergia is the first Polish company to align its development vision with the creation of a zero-emission economy.

A strategic project implemented by the Group in cooperation with Equinor is the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of 3,000 MW. Currently, the Group offers businesses green energy generated from its own onshore wind and photovoltaic farms.
