Over 30 new charging stations. Polenergia eMobility will build them thanks to cooperation with Newgate Investment

Polenergia eMobility will build over 30 new, publicly available electric car charging stations. The stations will be built at retail parks belonging to the Newgate Investment group. “Retail parks are a natural space for the development of fast charging infrastructure. Green energy from our charging stations will power thousands of electric vehicles a year,” says Artur Kalicki, Member of the Management Board of Polenergia eMobility

Polenergia eMobility will equip retail parks that are part of Newgate Investment’s portfolio with publicly available electric car charging stations. To implement this project, the company plans to build DC fast charging stations with a capacity of 150-300 kW and charging HUBs, the power of which will be adapted to the capabilities of the local distribution network.

Building a dense network of charging stations is essential support for the decarbonization process of transport, but also a response to the real needs of electric vehicle owners. We are looking for places that are attractive to our customers. Retail parks are a natural space for the development of fast charging infrastructure. Thanks to the established cooperation, green energy from our charging stations will power thousands of electric vehicles annually.

Newgate Investment is an investor on the commercial real estate market with a portfolio of 29 facilities with a total area of over 121,000 square meters. These properties are diverse both in terms of their location on the map of Poland and the tenant structure. At the end of 2022, Newgate Investment’s portfolio added 5 new facilities, located in Chorzów, Częstochowa, Zielona Góra, Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Ostrów Mazowiecka.

As we develop our group's real estate portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe, we are open to innovation and new needs of our tenants and clients. We also see huge potential in cooperation with Polenergia eMobility. Especially since the energy that powers the new charging stations will come from renewable energy sources, which is in line with our ESG strategy.
