The Rajkowy photovoltaic farm will include modern PV panels, power installations and transformer stations. The agreement with Nomad Electric covers, among other things, the supply and installation of supporting structures for PV modules, installation of PV modules and inverters, as well as the supply and installation of LV/MV substations.
The entire farm infrastructure will be integrated through a medium-voltage (MV) cable network, enabling the transmission of generated electricity to the MV/110 kV grid connection point (GPO). The farm’s connection to the national power system (KSE) will be carried out via a 110 kV high-voltage line to a transformer station belonging to the distribution system operator Energa (DSO).
The total value of the new farm investment is around PLN 75 million. The project has a final investment decision (FID), a building permit, and grid connection conditions.
Polenergia’s portfolio currently includes 13 wind farms and 8 photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 642 MW. Recently, the company obtained a license for the Szprotawa I&II photovoltaic farms (67 MW). Once the Rajkowy farm is commissioned, the number of photovoltaic farms will increase to 9, and the installed capacity of all onshore energy sources within Polenergia will reach 677 MW.
Nomad Electric specializes in the comprehensive construction of photovoltaic and hybrid power plants on a turnkey basis (EPC), as well as the servicing of PV and wind farms and energy storage systems (BESS). The company’s EPC portfolio covers more than 900 MWp, while its O&M portfolio exceeds 1.8 GWp.
