Polenergia Obrót with a new energy trading and risk management system

The sales company from the Polenergia group, in cooperation with Orchestrade, has launched the ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) platform. This new IT tool supports commercial and management decisions as well as risk control, which is important in the context of the growing renewable energy portfolio in the Polenergia group and the scale of Polenergia Obrót's business.

The new system operates in the cloud and allows for the handling of current transactions and long-term energy sales contracts—both physical and financial (cPPA and vPPA). It also enables even more efficient trading of guarantees and certificates of origin.

The new system allows us to operate faster, more reliably, and with greater insight into data, which strengthens the position of the entire Polenergia Group on the energy market. This step demonstrates our rapid pace of development and commitment to building a modern, sustainable energy sector for the future.

We have been operating successfully on the energy market for years, and this area is constantly changing and requires continuous development. We support ourselves in this with state-of-the-art IT solutions. Thanks to the new ETRM platform, we can respond more quickly to market changes and manage the sale of energy from renewable sources more effectively. This translates into greater competitiveness of our offer and, as a result, benefits for customers in Poland and abroad.
