PARTICIPATION OF A SUBSIDIARY OF POLENERGIA S.A. IN THE MAIN AUCTION AS PART OF THE CAPACITY MARKET FOR THE 2024 SUPPLY YEAR

The Management Board of Polenergia S.A. (“Issuer”) hereby reports that on 6 December 2019, the Issuer’s subsidiary, Polenergia Elektrociepłownia Nowa Sarzyna Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Nowa Sarzyna (“ENS”), took part in a capacity auction for the 2024 supply year. In the course of the auction, ENS offered a capacity obligation for the year 2024 in the total amount of 111 MW. ENS, until the end of the auction, did not file an exit offer from the auction. The auction closing price, which ended in the fifth round, is within the PLN 235.9 kW/ year and PLN 269.58 kW/ year range. The Issuer will provide information about the initial and final auction results in separate current reports, after their publication by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. and by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
