The Management Board of the company Polenergia S.A. (“Issuer“) hereby informs that the company MFW Bałtyk I S.A. (“Company“), in which the Issuer and Equinor Wind Power AS each indirectly hold 50% of the shares, participated in the MFW/1/2025 auction to obtain the right to cover a negative balance for electricity generated in an offshore wind farm and fed into the grid (“Auction“). The period of support granted under the Auction is up to 25 years.
On 18 December 2025, the Company received information via the Online Auction Platform that its bid for the Baltic 1 offshore wind farm project with an installed capacity of 1560 MW (“Project“) had won the Auction. The Company’s offer included, in particular, electricity price of 492.32 PLN/MWh and the Company’s obligation to generate and feed into the grid for the first time electricity generated in the offshore wind farm after obtaining a general license, within 7 years from the closing date of the auction session.
Information on the results of the Auction is made public on the website of the Energy Regulatory Office.
