The Management Board of Polenergia S.A. (‘Issuer’), acting pursuant to Art. 17 (1) of the Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC (OJ L 173, 2014, p. 1, as amended), hereby announces that it learnt of the results of the auction for the sale of energy from renewable energy sources, carried out on 15th November 2018 (‘Auction’).
The Auction was attended by the Issuer’s subsidiary, Grupa PEP – Farma Wiatrowa 17 sp. z o.o., developing photovoltaic farm projects with a total capacity of 8 MW. According to the notification of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office No. 96/2018, the offers of the Issuer’s subsidiary won the Auction.
Thus, the projects obtained the right to cover the negative balance in relation to the price offered during the Auction, for electricity planned to be produced for a period of 15 years, not longer than until 31st December 2035, pursuant to the provisions of the Act of 20th February 2015 on renewable energy sources.
The total planned volume of electricity sale by the above-mentioned projects within the period of 15 years is about 117,000 MWh.
