Offshore wind SPVs have signed the preferred supplier agreements with the offshore wind turbine supplier

The Managing Board of Polenergia S.A. (“Issuer”) informs that the companies MFW Baltyk II sp. z o.o. and MFW Baltyk III sp. z o.o. (jointly “SPVs”), in which Issuer holds 50% of shares, involved in development – as part of a joint enterprise of the Issuer and Equinor Wind Power AS – of two offshore wind farms projects i.e. MFW Baltyk II and MFW Baltyk III, signed on 22 February 2022 the agreements (separate for each SPV) for the preferred supplier of the offshore wind turbines (jointly “Agreements”) with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Poland sp. z o.o. and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S (Denmark) (jointly “Supplier”).

The subject of the Agreements is to grant the exclusivity to Supplier, within the terms of the Agreements, for timely supply of wind turbines for the projects MFW Baltyk II and MFW Baltyk III to meet the planned delivery-, installation-, and operational schedules. Following execution of the Agreements, the parties will continue further discussions with the aim to agree the final contractual conditions of wind turbine supply contracts, the conclusion of which will be subject to the successful negotiations and final investment decisions to be made by SPVs.

The Issuer shall publicly inform, in the form of current reports, about any relevant further information pertaining to Agreements or the fact of signing the final agreements for the turbine deliveries for MFW Bałtyk II or MFW Baltyk III.
